Content Policy
Standards and guidelines for what can be published in posts, sold in creator shops, and broadcasted via live stream overlay tools on Dukkung.
1. Philosophy and Creator Expression
Dukkung is designed to empower Indonesian creators across gaming, digital art, software development, writing, journalism, education, and entertainment. While we celebrate diverse creative expression, all content published, gated behind paywalls, or sold in shops must comply with Indonesian legal statutes (including UU ITE and UU Pornografi) and our platform safety standards.
2. Permitted Content
Creators may freely publish and monetize:
- Digital Creative Works: Illustrations, Lightroom presets, 3D assets, comics, fonts, sound effects, and music stems.
- Educational & Technical Resources: Programming tutorials, SaaS starter kits, Notion templates, e-books, and masterclasses.
- Serialized Stories & Journalism: Investigative reports, opinion essays, newsletters, and fiction chapters.
- Community & Stream Content: Live stream VODs, behind-the-scenes diaries, supporter Q&A polls, and event announcements.
- Physical Merchandise: Apparel, stickers, art prints, and custom crafts.
3. Restricted & 18+ Content Rules
Artistic nude figure drawing, mature thematic writing, and non-explicit adult discussions must strictly follow these rules:
- Must be gated behind Members-Only or Paid Post visibility with explicit content advisory warnings.
- Must never depict explicit pornography, non-consensual acts, or extreme violence under Law No. 44/2008 (UU Pornografi).
- Must never involve or depict any person under 18 years of age.
4. Strictly Prohibited Content Categories
The following content is strictly prohibited and subject to zero-tolerance removal:
- Hate Speech & SARA Violations: Content promoting discrimination, hostility, or violence based on ethnicity, religion, race, or inter-group relations (SARA).
- Defamation & Doxxing: Publishing private personal data (NIK, phone numbers, home addresses) without explicit consent.
- Dangerous & Illegal Goods: Promotion or sale of counterfeit currency, firearms, narcotics, prescription drugs, or illegal software exploits.
- Violence & Self-Harm: Graphic depictions of gore, suicide encouragement, animal cruelty, or terrorist propaganda.
5. Live Stream Media Share & Soundboard Policy
Supporters who submit YouTube/TikTok videos or custom TTS messages to creator live stream overlays must adhere to the same content standards. Creators have real-time moderation controls to skip, mute, or ban abusive donors.
6. Content Review and Appeals
Content flagged by our automated moderation engine or reported by community members is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. If your post or product was flagged in error, you may submit an appeal to appeals@dukkung.com.
