DMCA & Takedown Notice Procedure

Formal process for copyright holders and authorized agents to report infringing materials hosted on Dukkung.

1. Notice and Takedown Policy

Dukkung respects the intellectual property rights of creators worldwide and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and Indonesian Law No. 28/2014 on Copyright (UU Hak Cipta). If you believe material hosted on Dukkung infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal notification of claimed infringement.

2. Required Information for a Takedown Notice

To be effective, a formal DMCA / Copyright notice must include the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyrighted work.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., URL to original work or registration certificate).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its exact URL location on Dukkung (e.g., https://dukkung.com/c/creator/product/123).
  4. Contact information of the complaining party: full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3. Where to Submit Takedown Notices

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you are a creator whose content was removed due to a DMCA notice, and you believe the removal was a result of mistake or misidentification (e.g., you own the commercial license), you may submit a Counter-Notification. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Dukkung will forward it to the original claimant. If the claimant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we will restore the material.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with applicable law, Dukkung has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of creators who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers.
